DUMPEX does not accept dirt or concrete. Hazardous waste, wet paint, chemicals, batteries, tires and appliances containing refrigerant are also prohibited.

Can I schedule a dumpster exchange during the project?
Yes. If a job will produce more than one container of debris, let us know when you schedule the initial delivery. Exchanges are completed based on container and route availability, so advance notice gives us the best chance of coordinating the swap with your crew.
Can roofing shingles go in the dumpster?
Roofing material may be accepted with prior approval. We need the roof size by square, number of layers and material type before confirming the container and loading limit. Shingles are dense and can exceed a dumpster’s weight capacity before the container is filled to the top. Our max carrying capacity per container of any size is 5 tons or 10,000 pounds of debris.
How quickly can a construction dumpster be delivered?
Same-day or next-day delivery may be available depending on the job-site location, dumpster size and current schedule. Contractors with a fixed start date should reserve the container in advance rather than gambling the project timeline on last-minute availability.
Do you provide disposal-weight documentation?
Final disposal weight can be provided after the container has been hauled and processed. This gives contractors a record of the actual weight for job costing, customer documentation and any applicable disposal overage.
Does a construction dumpster require a permit?
A dumpster placed entirely on private property often does not require a right-of-way permit. Containers placed on a street, sidewalk or other public property may require approval from the applicable city or county. The contractor or property owner should confirm local requirements before delivery.
When is payment due for the dumpster service?
Payment is due at drop off for every dumpster. This includes exchanges, swaps and dump and returns. Overage billing is charged the day it is invoiced.
